About Us

Starting a bus company was the idea of my father, the late James Seldon Martin, who inspired me to be all that I can be in life. He thought about buying a bus back in the early nineties. He talked with me about this idea and said that he didn’t have anyone that he could really depend on to help with building a company. At that point, he didn’t want me to give up my job during that time.

Over the years, we would continue to talk about owning buses. My father shared his ideas and plans with me until May 2011. But before that, something happened, a vision came to me in the year of 2010 to own and start a bus company. Now, I had become nervous about owning my own company. I had to pray to the Lord and ask for confirmation. After a few weeks, The Lord gave the confirmation I needed.

Then, I prayed for the Lord to give the name for the company. Thanks to the Lord that on January 31, 2019, Traveling By Faith Motor-Coach LLC was established. We are in the Upstate of South Carolina, in the county of Abbeville, and the small town of Due West.

The Faces of Traveling By Faith

Victor & Angelea

Victor Anderson is the founder, owner, and president of Traveling By Faith Motor-Coach, LLC. Victor’s transportation experience started around 1983 at Dixie High School in Due West, S.C., when he drove school buses. Around 1988, Victor attended truck driving school at Schneider National Carriers located in Charlotte, N.C. where he drove cross country until 1989. Victor changes from cross country to more of a local driver for Winn Dixie Stores Incorporate located in Greenville, S.C. until 1998 when the Greenville Headquarters moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Victor was hired then as a driver for BI-LO LLC located in Mauldin, S.C. until 2005 when the company sold out to C&S Wholesale. Believe it or not, in 2021 C&S Wholesale closed the whole Mauldin, S.C. facilities. After all that, God made it possible for the idea of Victor’s father James S. Martin and his vision starting a bus company be a reality in 2022. Victor gives all praises to God for Traveling By Faith Motor-Coach, LLC.

Angelea M. Anderson is the spouse of Victor and vice president of Traveling By Faith Motor-Coach, LLC. Angelea is a graduate of Ware Shoals High School. She attended Piedmont and Greenville Technical Colleges and received a degree as a Registered Nurse.

Angelia Victoria

Angelia V. Anderson is one of three daughters of Victor and Angelea. Angelia is a graduate of Dixie High School and a full-time employee at Bosch Rexroth. She is one of the first employees of Traveling By Faith Motor-Coach, LLC. Angelia has several duties as of now and will be one of the managers as the company moves forward.
